Possibly one of the most spectacular wedding locations in the North Island.
The Potting Shed at Andersons Cove is the ideal place for couples who want a superb, secure, private and luxurious wedding and reception site within about 1 ½ hour drive of the harbour bridge.
With only 2 properties having riparian rights to a very private, sandy, north-facing beach, the flat land beachside is the ideal location for your ceremony. Security gates will be closed before the ceremony to ensure privacy.
Intimate and secluded, we have packages to suit most enquiries.
What we offer…
We can cater for events for up to 100 people with facilities that range from only providing the setting, to an all-inclusive programme with a suitably sized and furnished marquee, with or without full catering and alcohol.

The venue is a working farm with a beachside area for the ceremony.
Photo opportunities include the beach, our extensive gardens, and of course with our semi tame big horned highland cattle. Shots overlooking Bream Bay and amongst the wildflowers are just a few of our most special locations.
Photographs of the special day will be spectacular. The wedding photographers so far have enthused that it is the best location they have ever worked.
We suggest that the couple spend the night before and the night of the wedding in The Potting Shed. This helps to overcome any stress, as you will be on site - no traffic, no problem.
Please Note: As the ceremony is to be held close to the owner’s lodge, there is a curfew of 7pm on all festivities, or later by special arrangement. We suggest the ceremony is no later than 2pm to accommodate the time constraint. The site is not suitable for longer evening functions. Please allow 2 hours for wedding photography as we have a range of superb locations on the property.
