Just 90 minutes north of Auckland, Andersons Cove Luxury Accommodation offers two secluded A-List retreats on a privately-owned 40 hectare waterfront property located between Te Arai/Mangawhai and Langs Beach in Northland.
Choose from the 1 bedroom The Potting Shed with its romantic cottage gardens, bush outlook and birdsong, or Clifftops Lodge, 2 bedroom, 2-ensuite luxury tented lodge with sweeping, elevated sea views. Clifftops is ideal for two couples travelling together, or simply luxuriate in the extra space yourself.
Both accommodations are separate from each other, offering complete privacy, and may be booked separately or together for a group of up to 6.
Each accommodation comes with an electric golf cart to get around the property and visit the private beach of Andersons Cove should you choose not to walk the 200-300m.
Regardless of which option you choose you’ll enjoy utterly superior lodge-quality accommodation, Miele kitchen, Weber BBQ and high-speed Starlink wifi. Clifftops is also completely off-grid, powered by solar with a generator back-up.
You may never see the on-site staff, except during the optional daily housekeeping or if you order food or wine.
Both accommodations come with the delights of the property: foraging in the citrus grove, berry patch, potager garden and orchard (season-dependent), bushwalks in the nikau stands, and picking blooms from the wildflower meadow. And of course enjoying the stunning 800m beach with all-tide swimming and rock-pools to discover.
WEDDINGS
Needless to say, Andersons Cove is a great spot for a beach-front wedding ceremony, with many gorgeous photography locations. Our weddings are handled exclusively by One Fine Day for a superb experience. Find them HERE.

Why spend your precious leisure time travelling to Huka Lodge or Kauri Cliffs when Andersons Cove is a mere 90 minute drive from Auckland? Spend more time relaxing and less time in traffic. Leave the office by 3pm and you’ll have your feet in the sand by 4:30. Some would even say we’re commutable!
-
Make yourself at home hunkering down in your accommodation. No-one would blame you for simply staying put and unwinding in luxury.
However you may choose to enjoy a romantic beach-walk or leisurely stroll around the duck ponds, orchards, manicured flower gardens. There’s even a short bush-walk. Or tour the property from the comfort of your own electric golf-buggy.
At night, cosy up in front of your fireplace or dip into the decanter mini-bar of premium spirits and relax on the deck savouring a drink. Whether you cook for yourselves in the Miele kitchen, fire up the Weber BBQ on the deck or ask our French chef to deliver a gourmet 3-course dinner from our menu, you’ll have an evening to remember. Then, after dinner, stargaze from the cedar hot-tub on your deck.
The next day, indulge in the complimentary self-catered breakfast then simply relax and unwind.
If some quality beach-side lolling is on your agenda, ask our chef to prepare a picnic hamper and settle into the chaise longue beanbags or the Cape Cod chairs.
If you feel like a dip, Andersons Cove is swimmable in all tides and has 600m of golden sand. You’re likely to have the whole beach to yourselves as there is no public road-access.
Ask us about arranging for an in-room spa treatment or couples massage. Advance bookings recommended.
However you choose to spend your time with us we guarantee you’ll feel restored.

Make the most of our beachfront location with our kayaks, paddleboards and surfcasting rods.
Or if you prefer drier pursuits, play a spot of tennis on our full-size beach-front court. We have a petanque pitch too.
There are many scenic hikes in the local area, and of course the world-renowned Te Arai Links golf course is only 30 minutes away.
Ask us about arranging a fishing or scuba charter, an on-site personal training session or a tennis lesson with the local pro.
And of course you can enjoy walking the 40 hectare farm estate and beach.
